Message from President Donald J. Farish:
I am pleased to announce that Catherine C. Capolupo has accepted the appointment as Vice President for Enrollment Management at RWU. Ms. Capolupo’s experience, enthusiasm, leadership and communication skills will serve the University well as it continues to attract and retain promising students to its academic programs. Among the considerations that attracted her to RWU is her desire to be a part of the Affordable Excellence initiative that will separate RWU from other colleges and universities in the area.
Ms. Capolupo looks forward to leading an already accomplished enrollment management and financial aid staff, and to working with faculty and staff to achieve even greater success going forward.
Ms. Capolupo comes to RWU after having spent most of her professional career at Simmons College in Boston, where she most recently served as Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Admissions and Marketing. Prior to her promotion as Assistant Vice President at Simmons, she served six years as Director of Undergraduate Admissions. She received her B.A. cum laude in Sociology from Stonehill College and another B.A. in Art and a M.S. in Educational Leadership from Simmons College.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the search committee for its excellent and extensive work in undertaking the search that resulted in Ms. Capolupo’s appointment: Judith Connery, Tracy DaCosta, Jerry Dauterive, Richard Hale, Amanda Marsili, Jamie Scurry, June Speakman, Mel Topf, Douglas White and Andrew Workman. I also would like to acknowledge the active participation of Lahti Search Consultants that helped to guide the search committee during the process.
