Chandra Joos deKoven Named Director of Admission at Simon’s Rock (MA)
Chandra Joos deKoven has been named Director of Admission at Bard College at Simon’s Rock in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and will be assuming her new role in summer 2014. A New Hampshire native, Chandra holds a B.A. in political science and history from the University of Vermont and has completed graduate coursework at Cornell University (NY). She brings sixteen years of combined experiences in college and university admissions, as well as secondary school college counseling. For the past five years, Chandra has served as Associate Director of College Counseling at Breck School (MN); previously, she worked in admissions at Miami University (OH), Cornell University (NY) and Brandeis University (MA). Chandra is recognized by students and colleagues alike for her strategic insights, positive energy, passionate commitment to diversity, technological expertise, personal warmth and delightful sense of humor.
